SITE VIEWER: COMPUTER PRESENTATION SYSTEMS ANNOUNCES TWO NEW PRODUCTS AT INTERNATIONAL BUILDERS’ SHOW 2019
New builder software helps buyers visualize their dream home before purchase
“Designed to bring a prospective buyer’s new home to life, Imaginarium helps deliver more convenience to customers and better engagement for builders,” said CPS principal Zoe Miller. “Imaginarium enhances the customer experience allowing buyers to mix/match selections and see their home using AR on a tablet or phone – no extra equipment needed.”
Imaginarium gives homebuilders an innovative way to visually communicate housing design packages and upgrade options to the buyer. The software takes all the design options — materials, colors, design styles, etc. — that tend to overwhelm people at a design center and helps the buyer view, evaluate and narrow down their selections in an easy, understandable way. The technology behind the AR-based Imaginarium gives prospective buyers the ability to design their own kitchen, bath, etc., by sampling, then selecting, different options including flooring, cabinets and countertops, which can then be emailed to the customer with a captured image of their choices. Accessed on an iPhone or tablet, the easy-to-use product can be deployed at both sales offices and design centers.
Also debuting at IBS 2019, CPS’ SiteViewer Essentials allows homebuilders to deliver critical, on-demand home pricing and availability information straight to the fingertips of prospective buyers before they visit a sales center. With SiteViewer Essentials, homebuilders can offer dynamic web-based, self-service maps to customers that are updated in real-time through the builder’s CRM system or admin website. For example, the builder can display the real-time sitemap on their website allowing the home shopper to check a range of housing metrics, including the current inventory of feature homes or units available under any floorplan. Prospective buyers can also select a specific lot under the Feature Homes option to see the elevation or scroll through to review floorplan details and access a brochure.
SiteViewer Pro is an enhanced product that includes all the SiteViewer Essentials functions plus more. Developed for builder use, the SiteViewer Pro product includes additional data about each lot across the company’s sales, construction and warranty departments. Using CPS’ SiteViewer Pro and CRM software, a homebuilder can get additional details such as pricing (base, elevation premium, location premium), color scheme, estimated close date, and more with a single click. Data from multiple sources is gathered and the information is consolidated onto a very convenient map that is accessible 24/7. A construction-focused site map tracks site plan basics, start date, current stage of construction, planned completion date, estimated close of escrow, actual close and more.
“We’ve already had interest from a builder who intends to deploy SiteViewer Pro so that everyone in their organization can monitor trends, status of sales and construction, and more,” Miller said. “Keeping track of the total number of lots, those released, available for sale, spec, sold and closed, used to require someone manually (or virtually) sticking pins in 125 maps, which took two days and was immediately out of date. Not anymore!”
